Mihir Mathur

Mihir has done research on diverse subjects ranging from stock markets to climate change.  While in the financial markets he has performed discounted cash flow valuations for Oil and Gas companies listed on Indian stock markets and written reports on silver, oil and copper in the commodities market. An avid learner of system dynamics, he has taught the subject to post graduate students using sustainability and climate change as the overarching theme. Some of his recent work includes modeling urban carrying capacity, ecological economics using system dynamics, evaluating governance of climate services, conceptualizing carbon neutral villages/clusters, developing pedagogies to strengthen local economies and a research manual on estimating local money flows and climate risk impact assessment for rural communities in context of climate change adaptation. He has done post-graduation in Finance from Sadhana Center for Management and Leadership Development, Pune.
